I finally got around to putting mine inside a project box. Other than a few slips with the dremmel it went pretty well. Thanks for all the great wiring schematics. I couldn't have done it without them.

I have not. I searched here about dry hopping cider and the majority of what I've found was to use a low alpha hop with good aroma. Is it something specific about cascade hops or is is dry hopping cider in general for you?

Bottled this one today. It's a cherry pomegranate cider. Put this one together after bottling the one above. This one I'm going to dry hop with cascade or willamette.

Oh yeah Squeeky. As soon as the batch was in secondary the primary got a thorough scrubbing and now has 6.5 gallons of bleachy goodness soaking in it. Hopefully this is my first and last confrontation with whatever this is.

I racked to a glass carboy so I can keep a better eye on it. Whatever was there clung immediately to the auto siphon. In secondary now it looks like regular wheat beer. We'll see how it looks in the morning.

I opened my primary to take a gravity reading on my American wheat and this is what I found. Any idea what this is? I've done 6-7 batches and I've never seen this before. This was brewed on August 12 and is pretty much at it final gravity. If this is an infection can I rack from underneath...

Well MC got me nervous so I went ahead and put everything in the gang box tonight. And the controller doesn't fit. The box is a little too small to fit the wiring and the controller. I think I'm going to head to Radio Shack tomorrow and pick up a project box. At least I know how to wire it now.

Got my STC1000 and wired up my chest freezer.

I got my STC1000 in the mail today. Went to Home Depot to get everything and got it all wired up. It doesn't look pretty but it works. I will work on making it pretty when I have more time.
