    Normally you would make it a couple days ahead. Let it work, when it's done cold crash it to drop the yeast out of suspension. So you can decant the wort off and just pitch the cake. Unless you want to pitch it all. Also it wi keep I. The fridge for a week or so so you don't have to pitch it...

    1 gal for lauter ton deadspace - Question about that. its a Keggle with a 15" false bottom. the pickup is at the very bottom of the keggle so really there would be no deadspace correct?

    I just left the cooling loss the default. .46 gallon Fermenter loss: .50 gallon.

    Its going between 69 in the day to 66/67 in the evening.

    My Carboy is in my basement. It has been at 69 degrees, at night it has been cool and I noticed that it dropped 2 degrees. Will fluctuating temps hurt it?
