    Should I add the water to lower the OG while it is still fermenting? Or should I wait until I either transfter to secondary or bottle? I haven't decided if I'm going to secondary or just leave it in the primary for an extended period.

    How long do crushed grains last? I ordered some last week and they arrived last Friday. Right now they are stored at room temp. How long will they last like this? And can I make them last longer by putting them in the fridge?
