    First lager made a few mistakes

    I used one package of salfager 23 at 63 degrees. From there the temp slowly dropped to 50-55. I just left it in my garage which is that temp. Will move to my fridge controlled at 50 soon.

    Pump temp

    I found a pump for a reasonable price on craigslist liverani ep 20. It says it's max temp is 70 c or 158 f. Will this work for moving liquids that are 170. I guess the obvious answer is no?

    I took of the airlock off and peered in no krausen and no movement. It's strange because the airlock was bubbling around 15 hours after pitching but has stopped.
