    Angle Iron vs. Square Tube?

    Nice stand, also, nice bike.

Infected batch - cap comes off with explosive force

If you're not going to drink them, take the whole lot out to a quarry with your buddies and some guns. Problem solved.

Keezer Temperature Controller Without Changing Freezer?

Get a Dwyer/Love TSS2. They offer 230V, 115V even 12/24V DC units. If the TSS2 doesn't suit you, they have many other models to pick from.

    carbing at room temp.

I did this with my first few kegs, whilst I awaited the "completion" of my keezer. Worked great. Just had to turn up the CO2 a bit as it doesn't dissolve as well at higher temps. I think I ran about 25PSI in my basement for, at least, two weeks. When I got the temp controller running, I put...

    Vanilla Oatmeal Stout!

Great work. My first kegged batch was the None More Black Vanilla Stout, it was tough to wait the two weeks for the keg to carb-up, but it was worth it. Seems the beer goes much quicker when you can't count how many bottles you have left. :drunk:

    Priming in a keg

Yeah, you need to pressurize the keg after adding the sugar and beer, in order to get the keg to seal completely. If the keg isn't sealed, the CO2 produced from fermenting the sugar/DME will just leak out instead of carbonating the beer.

    Priming in a keg

You can carbonate a keg with DME/sugar, as you would bottles. Check the google search function on this site, there's a lot of people that carbonate their kegs with DME/sugar. http://www.google.ca/search?as_q=priming+keg&as_oq=sugar+dme&as_sitesearch=homebrewtalk.com

    Priming in a keg

Interesting, there's a lot of threads on here about priming your kegs with DME/Sugar as you would with bottles.

    Priming in a keg

Don't fill the keg so high that the beer is above the bottom of the gas-in tube. This can lead to back flow, and you'll get beer into your gas lines. You'll also need to pressurize your keg (30PSI?) to ensure a complete seal, else your priming fermentation CO2 will just leak out of the keg...

Quick help please!!! Converted pin lock??

+1 for the Dr. Pepper sticker. Also, the post spacing differs between pin lock and ball lock. The pin lock posts are at 10 and 2, the ball lock posts are at 9 and 3.

    Faulty bottle caps? uh-oh

Twisty? That doesn't sound good. I'd get some known-good caps from the brew shop, or a friend, and re-cap them.

kegged my first batch last night.

I had this same issue. When I would lower the PSI, a little beer would slip into the CO2 line. I may have filled the keg too high and got the beer level touching the bottom of the air-in tube. Ordered some in-line check valves, hope that will help.

If I worked at Keg Connection, I'd really be trying to contact you now -- With their logo/website right on the deformed gauge face and all. :)

    Love Probe submerge fix?

Oh boy, I just put together a keezer utilizing a Love TSS2 and the stainless probe. I submerged the probe and about 8cm in a Gatorade bottle filled with water. Is the probe/cable not designed for this application?

    Drinking my first batch....young

Well, you've got to sample your bottles to know when they're carbonated enough to share with friends. Nothing wrong with drinking greenies. They do get better with age though.
