Help with my schedule on lagering and bottling

Bringing it back up temp could wake up the danish lager yeast. Might give you off flavors if that happens pre-lagering. I would chill and let the lagering go for a couple more weeks then bottle at room temp with a clean profile dry yeast. You might also transfer to a tertiary (!!!) fermenter to...

Quick help! Honey Malt not available-Substitute?

I though honey malt was a version of Brumalt? Maybe add more Munich and Light Crystal or carapils like suggested above. Or caravienna or caramunich... https://www.homebrewtalk.com/wiki/index.php/Brumalt

Addition time - When to add Cocoa Nibs?

I'd go all fermenter. The boil probably wouldn't contribute as much flavor from boiling away flavor and then scrubbing out during fermentation. Also might get some undesirable tannins from boiling the nibs.

Addition time - When to add Cocoa Nibs?

In the keg or if you don't keg you could put them in the fermenter after fermentation is done. Lightly crush then sanitize by covering in vodka. Dump vodka in keg or fermenter then if adding to keg I'd put the nibs in a paint strainer bag and tie on some unflavored dental floss for later...

    10gallon Kettle vs Keggle?

I BIAB in a Keggle and love it. I would certainly recommend having at least 12G capacity to avoid spilling and whatnot. Kettle might be cheaper and easier to modify especially if you go aluminum. Ease of use, I'd say the two are about equal, but I like the Keggle b/c there's no mistaking that...

    Brewmasters Warehouse

Send them an email or call as soon as you can to double check they have everything you ordered in stock. They have a habit of going silent and just not shipping or notifying when something is out of stock and the order has been delayed.

    Let's Talk about Session Beers!!!

I've had great results from a lite classic american pilsner. (Almost a lite american lager). I like the nice fresh malt and corn character with the lemon/lime+spicy Motueka hops showcased. I BIAB... 8# American 2 Row or US Pilsner Malt 3# Flaked Corn Bitter with Magnum (about .25 oz)...

Frigidaire Model FRC445GB Mini-Fridge Kegerator Conversion

My fridge (this model) started making a clicking noise every minute or two and was not cooling. Turns out it was the relay that kicks the compressor on. I googled part #QP2-4.7 and bought a replacement. The replacement had three prongs instead of the single prong like the original piece, but it...

Any Alpharetta Buford area weekend brewers.

Crabapple area. I've been doing all grain for about four years now. I get to brew about 1/month but that's more beer than I can drink. I'd love to join in on a brew day and share homebrew!
