    Brewing and Recipes

I'm like hammy71, I like variety in my beer. If there's one you really like there's nothing wrong with doing it again and trying to fix any mistakes you made or try new things to make it even better, or just keep trying different things, either way you really can't go wrong.

Cheap Plastic bottles for carbing brew

No matter what you decide for this batch, I'd recommend starting to build a collection of glass beer bottles. Just ask friends and family to keep any pop top beer bottles and keep any you buy yourself. You'll had more than you know what to do with very quickly and won't have to pay for...

I'm not really knowledgeable enough to say how close this will be, but if I turns out close I'm definitely going to try it myself because I love DFH 60 min IPA.

Using a muslin bag. Any tips?

I'm by no means an experienced brewer but I always use muslin bags and have never had a problem. I make sure to tie them in a way that keeps them as loose as possible so that the grains or hops have room to expand and get good flow going though. The muslin bags are cheap so it's no big deal...

    Smells Sooo Good...

My wife used to hate the smell but for some reason last week when I brewed my latest batch she came home and though I was cooking something delicious for dinner and loved how it smelled. Then again she's pregnant so maybe that has something to do with it.
