I would mention it. I am proud to be a homebrewer. I wouldn't want to work for a place that thought my hobby was a bad thing.

Well she didn't know I was doing and I laughed and told her it was my fault for...

I so want to open one of my beers

Tim try one. I remember you brewed the same time I did and the same recipe. I tried one last weekend and it was good (I was really suprised after only a week), but I could tell it needed more time. I am trying another one this weekend to see the difference.

Mr Beer - Read all about it and ask questions

ok I saw the Mr Beer on sellout today and was thinking about getting it just because it is $25 with shipping. However I am wondering if I would be wasting my $$$. I got the Brooklyn Brew Shop kit and am using that and plan on eventually moving up. So does anyone think I should get the Mr Beer or...

My first brew is in the bottles

I just bottle my first brew on Friday. It was the same kit from BBS. I going to try a little at 2 weeks just because I can't wait, but then I will try another at 3. Post how yours turns out. I will be curious to compare how both of ours ended up.

    Bottle my first batch

Didn’t take long. Only a couple minutes. It was only a 1 gallon batch. I am definitely moving up to 5 gallons. Going through all this work for just a little bit was worth it. I will still use the 1 gallon carboy though just in case I want to experiment.

    Bottle my first batch

So I bottled my first batch tonight. It is an IPA and I have to say it smelled really good. They only issue I ran into was siphoning. I never did it before so I did practice and thought I had it down, but when I started siphoning from my carboy I wasn’t getting the beer out. I soon realized I...

Everyday I am reading and looking at what I am going to brew next. Any suggestions for a 1 gallon brew are...
