To be honest this will be my first Brett beer, so I'm still trying to figure out how I'll use it. I should have something (recipe/process) ready within a week or so.

I haven't had a chance to use either yet due to moving, but may try to dig out some stuff and make a batch with Hothead tomorrow. I'm just going to let it ferment at ambient temps if I do, while logging it a couple of times each day.

What panel are you using there?

I love the cans. I'll just have to store them in other places away from canned beer. I could totally see a friend grabbing one and cracking one open.

After using mine for a few months, it doesn't seal 100% as it is. Have to create one on your own. I love the concept, but am unsure what to do going forward. I may use it as the vessel that I'm willing to take risks with.

The pic in the first post makes it look like it's a little deformed, but the large indent is normal. The silicone flat gasket makes all the difference in the world for me, in this Coleman Xtreme and my last round Igloo MLT. I know it really sucks to have to pay shipping on just a couple small...

AQUILAS, here's my setup for my Coleman Xtreme 52 quart. Keep in mind, the rubber insert towards the ball valve is completely unnecessary, I only used it because I had a second one. Quick Photoshop job. Let me know if you'd like a larger version, original is 3000+ pixels.

I ended up buying two Coleman Xtremes because I screwed the first one up and punched a hole in it. So now I have 2 of those rubber neck/gasket pieces that they come with. Mine goes (starting from inside): Female NPT to the male/male 1/2" NPT (all the way through to the valve on the outside)...

My "house" IPA involves about 2 ounces of Amarillo, and Conan yeast. I get a metallic taste instantly when I drink it from the bottle. Pour it in to a glass, it's incredible. Must be something with my bottle/cleaning process.

Glad I read this, I'm going to try Conan in my porter recipe for an upcoming competition!

Looking at your water report, what would you be looking for to think that copper would be a good idea to have? I was thinking about putting together a copper manifold myself for my new MLT.

It's been since earlier in the year that I looked at your page when I was on a kettle search, so I can't remember, but since you do custom work would you weld tri-clamp ferrules on? I'd LOVE a V3, but I know you guys don't ship to Hawaii. EDIT: I saw that you guys do!

I'm going with a custom Colorado on my next go around. Sanitary fittings for the win!
