    I had this happen to me...twice. I didn't have a starter ready on brew day so had to brew then pitch a couple days later. Even after each batch showed signs of infection/spontaneous fermentation I still pitched my yeast because I already made the starter. Both batches were about 4 months ago...

    Clogged corny keg... what to do?

    How about hooking your gas up the beer out post and pulling the pressure release? That might temporarily clear the tube but if it clogged once it'll probably happen again. Ball lock posts are slightly different sizes, but it's not impossible to do.

    I recently purchased 8 reconditioned ball lock kegs from kegglebrewing.com. I'm local and picked them up to avoid shipping. The customer service Terry provides is awesome. A coworker also picked up a few items from him and he said the same thing -- just a great all around experience.

    Temperature control for fermentation

    I'm confused. Your yeast are swimming in the wort, this is their environment, so shouldn't the goal be to regulate the temperature of the wort/their environment? I always thought the best approach was to use a "sleeve" like the OP that allows you to take the internal temp of the fermenter...
