    Help with the Summer Recipe

    I added the brown malt because I thought it was too low in color. But then later realized I would have been fine, but oh well. since 2 oz really wont do anything for abv or much for taste. Oh well, lesson learned, will have to change that for next time! Thanks for the input

    Thanks for the respond. I didn't get it in time. But I did change it to .4 oz at 60 min, and .6 oz at 5 min. To make it a little less hoppy, since it is a summer beer. Thanks for the advice!

    Its actually against the law in most states. But they dont care too much. I send my home brew to my brother in DC all the time, and montana beers. He sends beer back. been doing it for 2 years now. No problems!

    bottle storage

    I just use a big rubbermaid box. holds the beer great, keeps light out, and in case of any bottle bombs, it durable enough that it wont pierce it, so less mess! Cheap at wal mart for like 7 bucks!

    That seems a little low to me. Ive always seen 2-3 tabs per bottle, granted I have only seen 3 different types of tabs. I could be wrong, but 1 per bottle seems a little low.

    You might get a little bit of off flavors, but wont destroy your beer.

    Hops on a plane???

    Hops are in the the same family as marijuana, obviously they are missing the THC. so drug dogs shouldn't be able to smell it. but best bet is to call TSA or the airlines, or even local police. they will all be able to help you out. Off topic: Go see the cubs play at Wrigley!
