    Beer fads that have passed

I'd say the proper way to do a hazy IPA is with grains/hops/yeast combinations that yield the result you're looking for. Adding flour for haziness is laziness and I would argue, likely sub-par in quality. I think the attributes of the NE/Hazy IPA should be outlined as a sub-category of 21B...

    Beer fads that have passed

Most fads surge, then fade, but I think the NE style will have more staying power. The reason I think that is because the type of hop bursting the NE style IPA's bring gives you all that hop goodness that we like without the burn out on ever increasing IBU's. It seemed that for a while, IPA's...

Upright Keezer, 8 taps, 11 kegs

Yes, it will fit. A sanke is less than the width of two cornies.

Upright Keezer, 8 taps, 11 kegs

The 1/2 bbl keg is usually 1 - 1.5" shorter than a corny, so it mostly depends on your sanke tap. Some taps are lower profile than others, but with the right tap, it's no problem.

    Nessie's Dope Ass Brew-Haus V2.0

^^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^^ Both Lowes and Home Depot have a short book on basic electrical theory, wiring, etc. It's a good reference for someone just starting out. Once you have the basics, it all makes much more sense.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Sounds like you're looking at it in Windows. If that's the case, you won't see the full size because of the Linux disk format. However, you can wipe it in Windows and start fresh. Here's the steps: Start diskpart (from command prompt) List disk Select disk x (sd card #) Clean Create...

Thermometer in a BK - why?

Ahhh....but it DOES speed things up! Well, if you use automation it does. With my BCS controller, when the BK hits boiling, it automatically starts my boil timer and beeps at me to let me know. I put a few drops of fermcap in during the fly sparge process, so I don't babysit it for a...

Brewers Hardware, All Stainless, Single Tier, BCS-462, Automated Rig

Yes and no. I can CIP and just dump to the drain, but the kettles easily come off. The problem with doing pure CIP is that you can't dump a kettle 100% with a pickup tube. You can always toss a towel in to get the last bit or just disconnect and tip it to dump the last bit. The MLT has a...

    Bru Gear

I would call and cancel the order. Dispute it with your CC company if you have to. It baffles me why people are so willing to place orders with them when they can't deliver, or when they do, it is sub-par.

MLT sightglass value IF you only underlet?

Because the water permeates through the grain bed, the sight glass will show the correct water level. The only time it doesn't is if the sight glass or fitting to the sight glass is plugged.

MLT sightglass value IF you only underlet?

There is still a benefit to having one on the MLT when you are fly sparging. You normally want to maintain a head of water above the grain bed while sparging, so if you have a lid on the MLT, it's easy to look at the sight glass to see that level. A marginal benefit, but still works for that.
