What makes this an intertap only shank???

Why would this not work with perlick faucets? Is it a different thread pitch or something? https://www.morebeer.com/products/intertap-short-tower-shank-duotight-compatible-barb.html?gclid=CjwKCAjw7e_0BRB7EiwAlH-goMN1fviPe--t_WIAZA8FgVc0PryIk7XbfaZdk2lxcVlsioOfLxO26RoCRL4QAvD_BwE Of course I'm...

    2018 dry yeast - trash?

It’s not rare at all it’s probably a $5 loss if it’s no good. It’s just a wheat ale yeast.

    2018 dry yeast - trash?

It’s just a random one off that I didn’t realize I had until some reorganization. yeah still sealed - looks new. Stored cool but not refrigerated. But who knows what happened to it before I acquired it.

Help with hop material after boil

I think maybe I’ll try letting it settle for an hour first. A hop spider doesn’t work for this I assume?

Help with hop material after boil

I do 6gallon (fermenter) BIAB batches and I like very hoppy beers. IPA, DIPA etc. I am struggling with all the hop material after the boil that gets into the fermenter. So much so that I’m loosing a half gallon or so. I Whirlpool and use a side pickup but that doesn’t seem to do much as the...

    Jockey box for vacation?

I think this is probably what I’m going to do as so far I can’t justify the cost of a box. Not for at most 2 uses a year.

    Jockey box for vacation?

Good advice...how do you dry the insides of the coils?

    Jockey box for vacation?

I’m thinking SS coil. I probably have 2 weeks of usage this year. Other than that prob NIST a few growers work. I’m between a jockey box or go college style and just sink the two corneys in a huge trash can full of ice - which will melt overnight.

    Jockey box for vacation?

Wanna sell me one??? Seriously, pending picks of course. only the 2 tapper is what I’d want.

    Jockey box for vacation?

Right but I still have to buy bottles (filled or empty) and I’ve never had good luck carbing a bottle via sugar or I have to get a counter flow filler??

    Jockey box for vacation?

So I’m planning a week long extended family vacation. About 15 people. In the dead of the southern heat. I’ve had some requests to bring a couple kegs of homebrew. I only have 5 gallon kegs and was looking at the best way to bring 2 of these with me. I saw the portable igloo cooler kegerator...

    New Tilt User..

Right I knew it wasn't meant for precision...but I just had not read yet that it would go up as fermention gets started (I read krausen will make it read erroneously but I didn't correlate that to increase SG). Ill just let it sit and watch over time to know when it's done... Thanks for the...

Taprite Regulator makes noise - only one side

Cool - just seems odd that one gauge does and the other doesn't.

Taprite Regulator makes noise - only one side

So for the most part I've only been able to have 1 keg hooked up at a time to my 2-tap system. I noticed today that my taprite regulator - one to control two kegs independently makes a "humming" sound when pouring from the outermost (dial position)...like gas is passing though as it should...

How do you travel with your homebrew?

That’s what I thought. I checked it out today, didn’t buy yet but it’s beefy and has a huge gasket. I mean I think it would be fine for across town/afternoon. But to your point probably not good for a couple days.
