Well, it was a lot of blank stares until I finally explained it to myself... but it took a minute. Nothing got tossed....

    Sending Beer To Competition's

Once the beer gets to it's destination, it will stand upright in a cooler for a bit and shouldn't get stirred up. I use these boxes... and these inserts. Three inserts fit nicely into the box with no movement.

    Going to take the dive

I'm guessing you haven't done a hazy before... consider this a practice run...lol. Cold side oxidation with these is a real thing, be super careful. It took me a few tries to get all the bugs worked out of my process. I've never used Verdant, but if you feel more comfortable with dry, go for...

    Consumption Check In

I've cut back on my beer intake this past year. Last year, after HomeBrewCon, I started getting really bloated and constipated... it was tough to eat and drink like I used to. Before, I would have a glass or two of homebrew during the week and three on the weekends. Nowadays, I'll have dry days...

Upgrading to an all electric brewing system

Wort temp flowing into the MLT and wort temp flowing out. I pay more attention to out flow.

    Hello, CA in Caz.

Welcome from the East Bay. I've been going to the river for years to fish, and later in life just to hang out. Did you ever go to the Stumptown Beer Fest?

Upgrading to an all electric brewing system

Auber has panel kits for HERMS, this is what I bought when I assembled my herms system.

    MoreBeer is out of California?

This is correct, as my friends text referred to Brewmaster.

    MoreBeer is out of California?

The phrase he used was "They are pulling out of Calif. and he would have to order everything from Kansas City."

    MoreBeer is out of California?

A friend just texted me saying MoreBeer is closing all Ca stores. The owner of his LHBS told him it might kill his business because of shipping. Not sure if this is completely accurate, but I thought I'd put it out there for anyone else to confirm. I'm bummed...

What I did for beer today

I transferred a RIS to secondary on top of nibs and vanilla beans for a week, for a club barrel aging project.

Why I love making beer - magical and mysterious ways

I've always been a Maker of some sort since I was a kid. Like @Broken Crow, I've had mini bikes, bicycles, motorcycles, cars... all of which I've repaired, built, modified and tricked out. Brewing beer seemed to fit in nicely... (not drinking and driving though)...

    Let's see some AI art

I would love to see the prompt eveyone uses to create their image... It would be fun to see what it does in other AI's

    Let's see some AI art

This one, the text turned out ok.... others that it came up with, the text was horrible. One thing I found, it can't use an image it just generated and refine it.

    Let's see some AI art

I've been attempting to generate a logo for my garage brewery, Hop Mechanic Brewing... here's the best so far...

To scoop out hot break or leave it?

I'll scoop the foop if it's a light clear beer, otherwise I don't bother.

    2024 Concerts

Here's a one day blues fest we like to attend... Blues and Bones Fest... casual setting in the California foothills, Angels Camp. Security is super lax, you can sneak in homebrews... lol

    2024 Concerts

We don't do big/stadium concerts anymore... I don't have tolerance for that kind of mess...lol. We prefer small, intimate venues without the crowds. Just recently saw a blues/rock guy, Alistair Greene. Good show. Steve Miller is a fav of ours...
