    CO2 bottle filling at home

Call it whatever you want, I guess. It's stable and I fill smaller tanks from it without issue.

    CO2 bottle filling at home

Care to elaborate or are you just gonna troll me?

    CO2 bottle filling at home

    Yeah. What's funny?

    CO2 bottle filling at home

Yes, it doesn't have a diptube and this was easy enough to rig together with scrap.

    CO2 bottle filling at home

https://www.ebay.com/itm/174298742907 This isn't the exact one I use, but it's very similar. Maybe nicer even. I fill 3 5lbs tanks that I use for a variety of things brewing from a 100lbs tank. Works GREAT

Time for a New All-In-One Brewing System

The brew commander is pretty nice especially for the money. I ended up buying a 15 gallon solo as it leaves me enough room to make virtually any gravity 6 gallon batch I want. I've read on the spike group that the upper limit on 10 gallon batches in the solo 20 is about 1.070 and I imagine same...

    Spike Solo Owner's Thread

I ordered and recieved my 15 gallon solo a few weeks ago. I'm now waiting on my 2nf replacement kettle as it seems they cannot ship these without damage. Lol, poor packaging. Oceangrace24, welcome to the club!

You know you're a home brewer when?

I exclusively keg beer and when I give some away I like to use 22oz bottles. It just seems more substantial than 12oz bottles

    Tapcooler counter pressure bottle filler

I will give it another go for sure before throwing this thing out, thanks

    Tapcooler counter pressure bottle filler

I have this and it's a neat lil setup. Hasn't worked right for me yet tho. I can get it to purge a bottle with co2 and seal. When I go to fill with beer it won't bleed off pressure which left me sorta manually momentarily breaking the seal to bleed off pressure. I think there may be something...

What I did for beer today

Put some feets on my riptides, 😉 Gonna cut up some spare lumber in a few minutes for a neat way to invert my 100lbs co2 tank (as it doesn't have a diptube)

eBrewing & Fermentation Setup for $3.5K or Less?

The metal tub in chest freezer for cooling method isn't so great. Search on here and see others guys results. I do not use glycol as I only use one fermenter and for one fermenter a stand-up freezer and an inkbird are WAY superior imo. Again, add up what a glycol chiller, cooling coils, pumps...

eBrewing & Fermentation Setup for $3.5K or Less?

I've been fermenting in a spike flex+ for over a year and love it. (I'm sure a CF5 would be a tad nicer even) I just bought a 15 gallon solo and it looks really nice. Excited to actually brew on it. If you're not buy a glycol chiller, coils, neoprene, etc then a stand-up freezer is your best...

It can move it's whole range of motion unimpeded. Why bend it?

    Spike Solo Owner's Thread

Appears to be a non issue just playing with it, @Bobby_M I guess I'll see with just water first when kettle number 3 arrives. (First two had bad dings & dented in TC due to shipping) Moved it up and down forever and it seems to stay centered

    Spike Solo Owner's Thread

I'm playing with this right now and it's pretty solid but it can pretty easily be made to rotate, so I see what you're saying. I'm racking my feeble brain trying to think of an easy way to stabilize it...
