I thought this was a great idea so I bought a carbonator and some of the energy drink mix from bbb. Wow this stuff stinks, literally. Have any of you guys noticed this?????????

Yeah I have a AHS cream ale I'm starting tonight. There kits seem to be really nice compared to the bb kit I did first.

update. Checked it again yesterday and looks great (and tastes great though flat). It hit fg of 1.012 so its in the keg carbing now. Time to brew again.

I just bought 3 corny's and I really need to clean them good. What do you guys use to clean the long tube. I plan on taking it all apart. Also I have one line set up for a sanke d coupler are there any adapters that I could use to use the beer nuts to hook up to a ball lock?

Copper is cheaper and easier to work with if you decide to make your own. I built mine for $29 with supplies from lowes

Or you could look up how to remove the sanke keg's spear and reuse the 1/6th. I have one now a friend was given and it really is easy to do.

I did an AHS blue moon clone 3 weeks ago and I figured it would be good to keg but when I opened the bucket there was still a bunch of yeast on the top like you would see in the first week. The temp has been around 65 +/- 3'. The gravity is 1.020 still so I'm going to let it go but it suprised...

Well I found the issue. I figured out how to disassemble the coupler and it has 3 o rings I cleaned up everything and soaked them it all in hot water and it works for now. Tomorrow I will get new seals.

Yes I took it back apart to check. It looks like the leak is on the shaft below the nut.

No, I think I did something to my coupler when tightening it down

I have a leak on my sankey coupler. It was fine until I went to change out my 5' beer line to a 10' line. It is leaking below the beer nut on the out line. Any idea what I did? I think when I tightened the nut I twisted the coupler. I took the line off and made sure it is on right.

I have hard water also what is ONE. OXY leaves a film on my bottles also

I really like this idea and I will definately be using it once I get my kegerator built. Thanks for the info and vids
