bobby, it seems like i have that thing pretty darn tight, and it's still extremely loose compared to that old cheap economy tap (which grew mold after 5 days). I'll deal with the looseness if it can't be fixed as long as it means I can go more than 5 days before mold shows up.

I smacked mine, it got all swollen, and sat on the counter for just over 24 hours screaming tight....worked just fine in the end
