    It's only been a week. Next Week will be 2 weeks in primary. My last batch I ended up overcarbing. Only did 30psi for 48 hours, then 10psi for 5 days. Lots and lots of foam. From now on, I'll put it at 10psi and leave it for 2 weeks

    Brewing a cream ale this weekend. I will be adding around 1.5 lbs of honey at flameout, but was also going to add around 1 OZ of sweet orange zest with 2 minutes left in the boil. However, my son suggested lemon zest instead of orange, and now it has me considering the switch. Any suggestions???

    Can local brewery fill my keg?

    Just a thought here. I have several great local breweries in my area that come out with great seasonal brews. Can i bring an empty korny keg to them and have them fill it? Would it stay good for a while? Anyone else ever done this?

    Gunk in first pour from tap??

    This never happened before. Went to pour my pumpkin ale from keg today. First pour was all gooey, gunk stuff! Next couple cleared up but looked to have alot of floating material. beer tastes great, but is this normal? What happened here?

    I have a spiced Winter Ale that's been in the secondary for 5 weeks. I picked up a second keg last week and want to move the ale into the keg for conditioning.     5/16 vs. 1/4

    Is there any problem putting 5/16" line on 1/4" barbed splitters? I'm think that as long as it tightened enough I should be fine, but wanted your thoughts.

    Co2 regulator question

    OK, maybe a stupid question, but I gotta ask. If I generally use 10psi on my keg and then add 2 more kegs and a co2 splitter. Do I still set the PSI on the co2 tank to to 10 psi to get 10 psi in all three kegs, or do I now set the PSI on the co2 tank to 30 psi (10psi x 3 kegs)?

    First time a lot of mistakes

    Hmm. I think you will be fine. What was wort doing for 3-4 hours? Why so long to cool? Not cleaning kettle is not so bad as its pre boil. 85 degrees pitching is fine, and don't stress sbout the scissors. My concern is the lengthy cool time. My gut says you will be Ok

    Transport during fermentation

    I personally would not do it. Temps vary to much. Sediment constantly being kicked up. Possible oxygenation. Just my opinion.
