    1/2 Barrel Brew System Wanted

They are 16 gallon kettles. I built a 25 gallon ebiab and prefer the foot print, saving space. As far as price, I'd like to get $3000 or so. Pm me if you want more pics or details.

American Porter Bee Cave Brewery Robust Porter

Well, my friends and I liked it. I used a kinda fruity etheopian bean. I would cut it back if you used espresso or French roast.

I added coffee. Cold brewed 8 heaping tablespoons with 16 Oz water in fridge for 24 hrs.

    Sweet Stout Deception Cream Stout

Picked up the lactose and roasted barely for this. I have everything else I need. I'll give this a go next weekend.

    What's going on here?

That should be enough to kill the bugs. Seems awfully cold for any activity.

You did boil your starter right ?

    Valve for Speidel fermenter?

I bought a replacement spigot (same as the bottom) and use it on the top. I use it to hook up a blow off hose and then to purge with co2.

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

The percentage is the alpha acids in the hops, basically how strong they are. The times are when to add the hops. 60 refers to 60 minutes left in the boil, so 45 would be with 45 min left and so on.

    Kölsch Bee Cave Brewery Kölsch

It'll be fine. It will clear after a while. You could always add gelatin if you feel like it. Either way it will be good.

Good, mine turned out great also. I'm doing it again Friday, going to drop the gravity again in hopes of a 4% beer.

    Full Brewing System

Are you looking for gas system ? I'm guessing so. I have electric 16 gallon kettles that I'm getting ready to sell. Just finished building a 25 gallon setup.

    Kölsch Bee Cave Brewery Kölsch

I would cold crash because it is a low foc yeast, so drop as much as you can

You could add more, but fermentation may be over. Check your gravity.

Stir plate question for 10 gallon batches

Why not build a stir plate big enough for a 5 liter flask ? They are pretty easy to build. I made mine in about an hour after sourcing the parts.

    Kölsch Bee Cave Brewery Kölsch

If it was a 2 gallon batch, you will be ok. If it was 5 gallons you really should have made a starter. There could be a small leak in you fermentation vessel letting co2 escape easier than the air lock. Check the gravity, I'm sure your fine. How long has it been ?

Adding coffee to coffee stout - preferred method

I spray the French press with starsan and use bottled water. No problems yet. I've done it 7-8 times.

Adding coffee to coffee stout - preferred method

Yes cold. You could add to secondary. I add it to the keg.

Adding coffee to coffee stout - preferred method

I use 8 round table spoons espresso ground coffee in 16 ounces of water in a french press in the fridge for two days.

    Cream Ale Fizzy Yellow Beer

I usually bump the temp up to 67-68 after 10 days for 3-4 days. Then drop to 34 for a few days.
