    I just got a corny pillar and have been debating the best way to use it. Wouldn't chilling with the corny pillar in keg serve to recirc and thus cool faster? Is there the reason you don't do this? You also have more options for whirlpool hops if you use chill cycle I would think (put hops in cages).

    There a picobrew Facebook group but it's full of questions on the pico and not the Zymatic which makes it pretty useless IMO.

    Using Dextrose in Beer?

    Great advice, thanks! When adding at high krausen, do you just take into account the additional total gravity (and total volume as well - 1.046 right?) as to not throw off your recipe? E.g. I guess if I'm adding .25 gallons of water with 1/2 lbs of dextrose, I would just subtract that much...

    Hop Bill for Mango IPA...need help!

    Maybe my terminology is wrong -- I was going to rack onto a bed of cut up mango (2lbs fresh mango, cut up, frozen to break things up, then thawed and into the bucket) in my secondary. I had researched this a bit and wanted to add the mango AFTER the ferment to get the most aroma out.
