With much resistance from the local homebrew club due to its "sponsorship program" we managed to organize our own bulk grain buy. 2 pallets, 52 bags, 13 homebrewers, 2810 lbs. Delivered to my garage. Planning another one next year.

If I drive down will you share some of this beer with me?

Wow old thread. I ended up at some hole in the wall bar in downtown Hutchinson that actually had Tank 7 on tap...right next to bud light, lol. I also made a purchase of some rare beers at that Goebel Liquor store and brought them back for some friends. One of them was Cantillon Isis.

Brewed a traditional Bock yesterday. Performed a triple decoction mash which made me remember why I haven't done a decoction mash for years. Too much damn work & time involved! Geesh.
