How long is Star Sans viable?

I have been using star sans in a blow of tube setup. How often should I change the star sans solution that the blow of tubes enter? As well how long is star sans undiluted viable or should I be buying new every time I brew?

Whats the best brew school to go pro from

I saved the article for a later time so thank you. I agree with everybody here by the way. I believe hard work and dedication is the biggest factor in running a successful business. I also believe that an education that gives me a leg up might be the factor in me working for someone else. I do...

Whats the best brew school to go pro from

A am all over the forums here learning everything I can. My plan is do what I love, and make a living doing it. If brewing only stays a hobby I will be happy with that. Nothing would make me happier than owning/running a brewpub(s). It looks like Siebel Institue has online course. I don't know...

Whats the best brew school to go pro from

I am currently student at Cal Poly Pomona(the Collins college to be precise). I haven't been taking classes in the sciences, but am more than willing to go through a little more background schooling before going to a brewing school. Whats the best place to go after I am done with my bachelors in...

    kettle vs keggle?

I had the same dilemma as you when I first decided to go all grain. For me the decision to use keggles came because it was cheaper to go that route. After doing a lot of research I was able to put 2 keggles together for less than 100 bucks for parts. The downside to these keggles is you have to...

Raising temp after 9 days primary

Both beers kigh krausened after 48 hours, but due to using a different technique I am pretty sure that I was in the low 60s most of the time. Can't wait for the fermentation chamber build to be put into play.

Do you Poo near your Brew?

Possibly best thread jack every. +9000 points. I don't know if anybody has posted this, but in mythbusters they proved that even if you keep your toothbrush as far away as possible, (inside your own house that is), poo particles will still make their way onto your toothbrush. So I say poo...

    Couple noob questions for ya

This might be me talking out of my a**, but from what I understand some beers are meant to have low efficiency. It has to do with the way you crush your grain, and the temperature that you mash at. IIRC an englishwoman posted on here about how the typical efficiency for them is 60-65 percent and...
