i got 4 of these for free the other day now i know what to do with them

so ypu are mig welding it what wire are you using is it fluxcore or hard wire if it is hard wire what is your flo set at

that looks like tube so you would need a 2"od to 1/2"od conical to make it then i would go with tri clamp fitings

is that 2" pipe or tube how far away is it from the kettle if you have a stub out you could get an conical reducer

good for you learing to weld on your own time the biggest thing with ss is to prep it right and make a good fit then purge it realy good the cleaner the better and like dmfa200 said brush it realy well wile hot you should not have any problems i learned on plate steel befor i learned ss pipe so...

yes back gasing is a must on stainless im a welder pipe fitter and work in a lot of food and beverage plants and we always back gas our welds and they come out perfect every time nice and smooth no grinding needed

im runnin the maxstar 200dx works perfect dont even use the pulser i am a laid off welder pipefitter in oh

i will i have only been brewing a short time but we have a small house and the wife is geting tired of the brew stuff takin up room in the house so she told me to build a place for it
