Thinking of adding 200gm of (Quaker) rolled oats to a 5 gal batch of Mild as an experiment so may I ask :
1 Should they go through the mill with the other grains or be added whole ?
2 Added at the start of the mash ?

The reason I’m asking about temps is because I have just acquired an Allrounder so want to try a pressure/closed transfer
I only brew Ales – Bitter, Mild, Porters and the like i.e. not Lagers, NEIPAs etc
Can I ask the idea temperatures for the following please :
A Cold Crashing
B Keg carbonation
C Serving temperature
Do not know about kegs but i do know it cleans the caked on crud in old bottles very well - I leave soaking overnight then rinse well
Use it for all cleaning before a rinse and Starsan
Because the cord/rope goes though the loops in the Brew Bag - unlike other bags - it also makes for a far safer way to hoist a very hot bag of grains and wort
