I am looking for a swingle measure hydrometer to make reading of it easier (my eyesight is not 100%) i.e. is there a hydrometer that just measures the SG of beer and not wines etc – a single scale hydrometer in other words?

After fermentation has finished (under pressure) why not add the carbonating sugar to the fermenter (can be done under pressure so no CO2 is lost) and then bottle at once using (say) an iTap?

Unfortunately I do not live in the UK and only a limited choice so I think it will have to be M.O. for my English ales – thank you
