    Dry hopping question

So I am in a dilemma, I have been fermenting in 5 gal corny kegs and I am on a tight schedule. The problem is that I need to add dry hops tonight and I forgot to pick up bags, and the brewshop is closed at this point. I will be adding 1 oz of sorachi ace pellets and 4 oz of leaf green tea...

    Cleveland or Detroit or Minneapolis?

Atwater, dragonmead, griffinclaw, kuhnenns, sherwood, bastone and those are just the really good breweries, then there are a whole lot more decent ones as well. Sure the other places sound great as well, but I wouldn't just write the Detroit area off.

The 10 Kegs of Winter - 5 Months Worth of Beer

I would definitely brew some beers that benefit from aging, maybe a scotch ale or try oaking some beer. Although I just drank a bottle of an IPA I made about 11 months ago and honestly it didn't really taste any worse than it did back then, probably why it's still around.

    post fermentation hopback?

Well, I am planning on fermenting in a cornie, so I could purge the whole system with co2 before the transfer

    post fermentation hopback?

So from what I've been able to find using a Randall is not the same as dry hopping, I get that. But, what if you ran the beer through the Randall before chilling and carbonating it?

    Stuck fermentation

I did, but I was not using my herms setup yet so maybe it was not as consistent of a mash temp.

    Stuck fermentation

So I pitched a new pack of wyeast 1728 about 24 hours ago, I'm guessing there will be a longer lag time because of the lack of oxygenation in this situation. Any idea how long I should wait before trying other options? Also moved it upstairs, temp came up 2° to 66.

    Stuck fermentation

So I brewed a strong scotch ale about a month and a half ago. I have brewed this recipe numerous times and never had any problems. OG was 1.084, made a starter. The plan was to keg 4 gallons and then age the other gallon on some oak. I was in a rush so I pulled a sample but didn't actually check...

Nitro tap - worth it or not?

I wanted to add a nitrogen tap, but every time I called a local gas supplier they didn't know what I was talking about or said they didn't carry it. Can anyone tell me what specific gas to ask for from airgas?

    What's in your fermenter(s)?

5 gallons milk stout and 5 gallons wee heavy. I'm about to keg 4 gal of the wee heavy and then age the other gallon with a piece of oak spiral I am currently soaking in Glenfiddich 15 year old scotch

    Co2 tank empty

Well I switched out my tank this morning, found one leak so far from a swivel nut that wasn't threaded right. Turned the pressure up to 14 on all the secondary regulators and shut the gas off before I left this morning. As long as the pressure is still holding when I get home I'll hook all the...
