    How to quick carb Fermentasaurus?

Do you keg or are you looking to force carb before you bottle? Just not sure why you want to force carb your fermenter?

What are you brewing next & have on tap/bottled

@catdaddy66 how is the westvleteren clone? I’ve been debating about brewing a dubbel or even a quad. Did you bottle or keg?

Using glass-top stove for boiling starters?

I have a glass top range. I boil in a sauce pan, cool in my sink with cold water for a few minutes then pour in my sanitized pyrex flask ~+100f when I transfer. I then cool the flask to temps appropriate for pitching.

What are you brewing next & have on tap/bottled

I plan to brew this weekend & leaning towards a Belgian double but not sure I want to sign up for bottling... I want to go for a bigger beer, but probably something on tap... I have a cream ale fermenting now, plus a Belgian Wit on tap. This weekend we kicked our keg on the Alt bier and cider.

    Refractometer vs Hydrometer

A refractometer doesn’t work with FG the alcohol skews the measurement. I only use it for OG measurements and use a hydrometer for FG... (then I drink the beer!) I tried to find a good calculator online to convert the reading but not much out there. (Might want to look at brewers friend...

Best way to attach wood to Keezer?

I simply used silicon to create a seal & haven’t had any issues but others have used two sided camper tape with success.

    What would you do?

I would spring for the refractometer. It’s probably the least expensive tool that has improved my beer & brew day. No wasted wort, no waiting for wort to cool to get OG. I’ve taken readings mid boil & used it on yeast starters... I only use my hydrometer for FG readings. (Then drink the beer)...

    Fermentation Chamber

I’m looking for a good solution also. What is your fermentation vessel? I use Inkbird controllers, and a cheap heat mating mat https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZXOP1C/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 But, I’m not in love with the solution. I have a small chest freezer that I need to add a collar...

    Stuck at 1.016

@kh54s10 yeah that’s what I was afraid of, I just haven’t had a beer that finishes above 1.010 yet & was curious if there was anything I could do...? The beer tastes pretty good. Great upfront but a little bite on the back end? Don’t think that has anything to do with unfinished fermentation...
