    If you dump hops out on the compost pile make sure that your pets will not eat it. It will kill them. This is true for dogs not sure about cats.

    LME has a lot of concentrated sugars. If it will freeze the freezing point will most likely be well bellow 32F. I never try to freeze LME. This is just one thing to consider.
