[BrewUNO] Another brew controller (from e-BIAB to 3 Vessel)

This looks interesting, and fairly inexpensive. I don't think you even need the brewmaniacex board either... BrewUNO - Automatización de la elaboración de cerveza casera The web interface looks pretty nice, and it looks like all components can be had for under $100, with most of the internals...

Missouri Brewhardware.com Hot Rod and RIMS kit

Regretfully, I haven't had time to brew much lately so I'm working on reducing my brewing 'footprint' around the house. I have the following available for sale now: Brewhardware.com Hot Rod, ready to use. HotRod Heat Stick, Ready to Use (hot rod) , but with 1650W 120V SS fold-back element...

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil

If only the hive mind and self-awareness part would kick in...talk about automation!

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil

Up top is a sight glass followed by a small valve...I just want to see that wort is flowing so the element doesn't scorch it or worse yet, dry fire. I got that sight glass from aliexpress for $33...it took a month to get here from China. Felt more like a couple months with the anticipation...

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil

I actually just put together a 10G bev cooler/RIMS tube combo for big beers that I can't mash in the BEMB. It's a bit redundant, but I configured the RIMS tube so I could do exactly what you're talking about. I haven't hooked it up to the BEMB yet to see how it goes, but my assumption is that...

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil - Dip Tube Solution & Placement Q

Sorry...long time no update. I barely get time to brew anymore with work, a toddler at home, and another one on the way. Since those original images were shared and the BOM made, I've made several adjustments, most of which were finished around Feb of this year. I outlined the revisions here...

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil - Dip Tube Solution & Placement Q

True, that was the BOM before I tore down and rebuilt the system on a chrome wire shelving system. That doc is mostly still relevant, but some things have been removed/added. I pared down the amount of plumbing & hoses slightly, but also added a 8 gal HLT with hot pod, a couple Inkbird IPB-16...

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil - Dip Tube Solution & Placement Q

Well, if there's any question, the bottom of the 6x14 ss spider sits pretty comfortably around 2" above the hot rod. I'll call that a win for now, at least until I see it in practice. Pics later.

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil - Dip Tube Solution & Placement Q

Thanks! It's definitely been slow going getting this all together and super hard on the wallet, but it's such a upgrade from my propane powered turkey fryer! Just crossing my fingers that it performs as I expect. I'm going to use a hop spider like this one. Only issue that I can foresee might...

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil - Dip Tube Solution & Placement Q

Honestly, I don't know yet. I just got it together to this level a couple days ago and haven't had a chance to test the new setup yet. I plan to leave it as is for now and if the whirlpool doesn't work as expected, I'll recut the dip tube and clock it so it faces the other way, into the...

Sent you both PMs with details.

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil - Dip Tube Solution & Placement Q

I don't currently, but I could throw a BOM together pretty easily with some more detail pics. I'm actually terrified to find out exactly how much I have in this so far...talk about scope creep. It's probably all together about what a grainfather would have costed, except with this I get...

    Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil - Dip Tube Solution & Placement Q

All of the stainless fittings are 1/2" npt. Most came from bargainfittings.com including the Mark II pump and silicone hose. A couple compression-to-npt fittings came from Aliexpress. The whirlpool arm came from stainlessbrewing.com. The cfc I think was from ny brew supply on Amazon...the 1/2"...
