guess i used too much water used 8.5 lbs two row .5 lbs crystal malt 15L 4 gallons in first runnings was 1.063 ran another 4 gallons at 170 for 10 min and came out to 1.020 have not boiled it yet , any advice would be appreciated

thank you so much for the reply i carbonate for 2 days and then turn down to serving pressure on the 3rd day, force carb i meant for 2 days on 30 psi then serving pressure on the 3rd day so im good, got a Milk Stout in keg carbonating Gravity sample taste good made my own water with brewing...

the same thang happened to me and i shortened my boil time to make up for it and damn was it good

i don't see the need to boil for 60 min all grain i brewed an extra pale ale and boiled for 30 min . It had better hop aroma and flavor a little bitter but not bad i used 2 oz cascade 30 min. 1 oz cascade 1 min. boil was pretty damn good ? feed back please
