My brew day is going terrific so far. I’ve also been able to boil with the garage door closed! I’ve got the 6 gph model for my 15 gallon system. I purchased a 9 gph spray head in case I needed it. With my unknown water pressure the 6 is enough! I filled a brew bucket and a half of run off...

Everything fits just fine. Everything is still awaiting tomorrow’s brew day!

I guess I should’ve written, “the brew club that I’m a member of...” I didn’t start the club if that’s what you meant. We meet at Sound Home Brew in Georgetown. Opened to anyone.

Funny thing ... Tonight was my home brew club meeting. Our guest speaker was Annie, head brewer at Pico. She spoke about the system and the still. Also she provided some sample brews of her own design and they are quite delicious. In fact I won a pro serving keg filled with one of her IPAs...

That’s a great photo. Agreed about photographing black and white tux cats. Gives the camera a hard time with exposure. It’s difficult to resist posting photos. Especially awkward ones.

Still using mine from 18 years ago when I started brewing. I use my conicals primarily but why let fermentation vessels sit empty if you have them? But yes, watching the process is pretty cool. Cheers!

Good observation. I can’t speak for the extract experience since I’m all grain. Things such as this submitted as a bug or support item will most likely be addressed shortly. As for design I just got used to it. I am starting to like the minimalist look of it. Anyhow, glad you’re getting to try...

If you have one outside your window it will probably remind you of an air conditioner ...but only for a few minutes. TC time will probably vary depending each owners setting. I imagine on the warmer days it may be noticeable out side your bedroom window. I haven’t sat out in the garage to...
