    I did all of the fab myself.. I have full machine and sheet metal shop. I did not calculate the material cost they were drop offs if recent jobs. I am sure it cost more than just buying one. But, I enjoy making everything I can. Plus it is always exactly what I want. 

    What temp did you mash at? My last 2 batches I mashed at 154-153 and don't taste near as good as my first batch, which was suppose to be at 153 but ended up at 151.

    Will too cool hurt fermentation or just slow the process?

    What temp is it at, also what yeast? Another thing moving the bucket around or just bumping it when it is in its prime time really ticks it off.

    Also if sweetening is needed I sorbate it to stop all fermenting of the added sugars, and let it sit in the 2ndary for 2 days. Then sweeten to taste.
