    Brewing with honey

I believe you mean 35-40/how many gallons your adding honey into (35-40 divided by gallons of beer) As you can read in my post above (#35), my 3# added .012 to the SG (4 for each pound of honey) This was in a 10 gallon batch

    Brewing with honey

I just did a blueberry flower honey, wheat beer. I used WLP-029 Kölsch yeast. At near terminal gravity (no more gravity points moving down), I added 3 lbs of the honey to the 10 gallons of beer, fermentation kicked up again fast, then after 3 days, I cold crashed it and added campdon tablets...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

What fermenter do you use?? My Ss Unitanks have a very thick skin, and the Tiltbridge will always work if I put it directly sitting on top, near the TC ports. But next to the tank, down low, the signal is too poor. The board also works over the top, sitting on another tank directly next to...

    Brewing with honey

Has anyone used Campdon tablets to stop the Honey from totally fermenting out? I added 3 pounds into 10.4 gallons of a Wheat beer today, that is done fermenting. It took off like wild in a few hours again, once the beer Kolsch yeast, seen the sugers! I just do not want the honey taste to...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

@chuckgl , your thinking too much... (like I always do, and screw things up) If you want the "Cadillac" version with a nice big screen, that can easily pick up the Hydrometer's signal in the tank, and then relay it up to your home base router (by way of TiltBridge) then just get the LOLIN D32...

Where do you live? It is going to rain here for 7 days since yesterday.... The indoor trainer really helped me get a huge head start for the outdoor road bike rides last 2 winters. Only downfall, is a walk-in-cooler full of top-shelf homebrews that keep crying "drink me..... drink me....."

Yeast: s-33 and t-58 - what shall I do with them?

Yes, this is what the "Experts" tell you to do with the Weihenstephan Weizen yeast - under pitch, no oxygen, to stress the Critters out

Yeast: s-33 and t-58 - what shall I do with them?

I never used any other dry yeast, except the 34/70 lager yeast. I was very happy with the clean, fast, fermentation of the 34/70. I was going to use, soon, the T58 and S-33 together combined, for an experimental Wheat/Belgium, style ale. T58 is said to (by Fermentis) - "intense fruity and...

Yeast: s-33 and t-58 - what shall I do with them?

WOW! This Thread went from December 12, 2012 (post #13), to a very active thread! I decided to use both the S-33 and the T58 together, as @Northern_Brewer posted in #19. I will not be able to taste the difference between the two, but I have read that these two work great together..... After 187...

Searching for recent experience with SafAle S-33

For many years, all I made was bottle conditioned Belgian style Ales...... Now 99% Lagers, with a few "Ales" - (Weizen bier, Kolsch) I do miss the Belgians, but I just got too F'd up on them and gained a lot of weight.... Now riding a bicycle a lot, and drinking lagers!

Yeast: s-33 and t-58 - what shall I do with them?

THE QUESTION WAS - What beer (commercial or non), is brewed with both combined together, the S-33 along with T-58 ? I was going to just use them by themselfs, or try to find the Brewery that "loved" the combination of using both together, for there (I think??), Wit beer. Thanks NB !

WOW!! I thought that I would be talking to myself on this 2012 old Thread/Forum.... did not expect so many replys - NICE! I have every Craft Beer and Brewing Magazine since the first issue, so not sure how I missed this article, but NO, it was not a Belgium Triple. I do love making bottle...

Yeast: s-33 and t-58 - what shall I do with them?

I know this is very old, but somewhere I read recently, that the brewery combines both the S33 and the T58 for there Wit beer. I have been trying to find this article for a while and came across your post. If your still around on HBT (I am), let me know thanks

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

@Thorrak knows the answer, but I am sure if you link the Tiltbridge to your Fementrack, you will no longer have problems getting readings out of the Ss tanks. Although I am using two Tilts with the Tiltbridge (no repeater needed !!), I would expect the iSpindle to work just as good. Let us...
