    Kegerator condensation

Bought the Eva-dry unit a year ago for maybe $25. Just use the typical computer fan powered by a cellphone charger cord. It made all the difference in the world having the fan blow right at it. Had to plug the Eva-dry in to dry it out after 3 or 4 days a few times but once it's dried out its...

    Kegerator condensation

To all who have had problems with keg condensation; I have found a solution! Get yourselves an Eva-dry unit- a renewable mini-dehumidifier - and hookup a small fan. When you direct the fan at the dehumidifier the kegerator/keezer is kept bone dry. I had an Eva-dry in my keezer for months and...

    Brewing in Basement

I brew year round in the basement. I crack the window and put a window fan in it. Have a carbon monoxide detector just in case, but it's never gone off. As long as you have safety redundancies you'll be okay.

    Bar or Kegerator?

Build the kegerator. Unless you plan on renting forever, the bar can't be moved with you, but a kegerator can.

First time kegged last night, and now for the questions. :)

Looks like from your photo you have it in your kezzer/kegerator. The colder temperature will always result in lower readings on your gauges, I had the same concerns when I got started, but if they haven't moved since the original drop you can rest easy. My 5lb is on it's 7th keg and still...

    Molasses as priming sugar.

Don't do it. Priming is not the time to introduce flavour.
