    Thanks for the replies. Sweetsounds you really made up my mind. As long as these things can be rebuilt inexpensivly guess I will get into kegging. They also want to get rid of thier CO2 tanks. They say property of coke all over them would be sweet if I could get them refilled

    I have an opportunity to aquire 6 5 gallon pin lock kegs complete with regulators, manifolds, liquid and gas fittings free where I work. Is it worth bothering with these? They look well used and came from Coke. Are replacement O rings for these available and are they the same as Ball Locks...

    Irish Red Ale

    I have made AHS Irish red twice. Very pleased with the results. Had a hoppy aftertaste at 3 weeks in the bottle which faded away by week 5.

    Adding Bourbon To a Vannila Porter

    High Gravity Scotch Ale Aging Question

    I have a scotch ale in primary 1.088 OG . Used WLP028. This beer is within 4 points of projected FG after 8 days in primary. I intend to leave it in primary for 4 weeks. My question is should I rack to secondary for a couple of months (Bulk Age) or go ahead and bottle it and age it that way?

    Another starter question

    The yeast is WL028 and has been on the stirplate 24 hours. Could brew tommorow AM would be on plate ~40 hours at that point.
