Probably. Had a smack pack freeze on me in a dorm fridge once. Made a starter just to see if could salvage but nada. Dead.

    Mash Tun Slot Spacing

My 48 qt cooler has PVC manifold w/2 cross bars in it. Slots about 3/4 apart (not precise at all). Cut about 1/3 way through the pipe. Works very well.

    Mash Tun

Same type manifold I use on my old 48 qt cooler: slots about 3/4" apart all around and 2 crossbars in middle. Used Sawzall cutting about 1/3rd way through the pipe. Has worked very well for several years.

    Mississippi Beer

Definitely hit up the Smokestack. Phil carries some beers that the Jackson area doesn't have.

    Beer in Jackson, MS?

The Bulldog near County Line Rd has 60 taps and will have some of the newer stuff. Two Wing Stops (Jackson and Ridgeland) have good selections and probably best prices.

    Homebrew Legalization Progress in Mississippi

And you needed a federal permit first...which doesn't exist for homebrewers. And a $10K insurance bond. Hence the mess.
