    Plasma Cutter Table Ideas?

That came out looking pretty good. As stated before, you are very lucky as my neighbors don't even own a lawn mower and have someone else cut their grass.

Yet another group of hombrewers trying to go pro

No it was: O to A, but if Blackacre is not used as a brewery then to B. Blackacre brings back old memories from Property law.... On a side note, if I ever get a chance to open a brewery/brewpub I am naming it after the road my law school was on, because everyday I turned on it I wanted a beer.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I love having Fridays off. Brewing right now! Maybe I will be able to do two batches this weekend.

Can I carbonate 2 gal of beer in a 5 gal corny?

Very good advice. When it comes to force carbing it is very easy to over carbonate. However, if you are in a rush and want to force carb then be sure to check the beer fairly often in order to try to prevent over carbing.

First time kegging - a few questions

No problem, now granted that is based on not making very large changes in serving pressure. If your are going to be serving root beer and other liquids you may run into some issues as the serving pressures change dramatically.

First time kegging - a few questions

I will help where I can. As for the size of the shanks, how thick is the door you are trying to go through? I would not necessarily base the length on how much excess you have to have, just remember that you will need enough thread to attach the tailpiece and nut. For reference, I had about...

    Worst Part About Homebrewing

I don't bottle anymore, so probably cleaning. Having a batch in a secondary fermenter only to finish off your last keg is pretty bad as well.

What does your SWMBO think of your brewing hobby(lifestyle for some of you)

My wife fully supports the habit. She actually recommended the keezer build. Her only issue was when I used to do extract in the house, she was not a fan. While she doesn't care to help brew, she does enjoy beer and thus I try to brew something she would like every couple of batches.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Going to do a brown ale recipe I got from a friend on Saturday. Hopefully it works out as planned.

    5 cu. ft. keezer question

It really depends on the freezer. There is a thread in the bottling/kegging section that provides different freezer sizes. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/sizing-your-chest-freezer-corny-kegs-75449/ I personally have a 7.0 cu ft freezer that has the smaller compressor hump in the back...

Brutus 10 Rebuild (Lots of Pics)

Awesome rig. I like how you kept both the gas plumbing and wiring extremely low key and organized.

    Kegging and the wife...

+2 on the flexibility. Since I began kegging I have not noticed a difference in my consumption. To be honest it might have dropped some based on the reasoning Thebaconator provided with regard to pouring the amount you would like. I will admit that on occasions friends will start to take...

    What are you drinking now?

DFH My Antonia followed by a few Chinook IPA homebrews.

    Newby

I also went the route of buying a chest freezer on craigslist. There are many options but if you are set on using a mini-fridge kegerator I would also check craigslist as I have seen them on there on multiple occasions. Also, it might be worth looking at the "Show us your Kegerator" thread in...

    Buy good faucets

Good move on the Perlicks. I have nothing but good things to say about my 525ss.

Need some help with my electric boil keggle

Curious to know the answer to a few of these questions as well...

Help with picking equipment for my keezer project

I am not convinced the creamer faucets are necessary. Have you considered purchasing just one 575 in case you come across a situation where you want it? As for the controller, like the rest I have only used a Johnson controller and don't have any complaints.

    Central Florida Brewing

I'm a little farther north in St. Augustine, but travel down to Tampa a good bit. Maybe I'll try to plan ahead a little the next time I make the trip.

    Oatmeal Stouts?

The inside of our fridges must look very similar. Those are two I try to keep at all times.
