    Ok so crashed anyway for 7 days and now this batch taste way different from the last. It took on a slight sour smell but its very hard to taste it anybody got any ideas?

    So i cant boil a total of water to equal the full 5 gallon batch. So this being said wat is if any problems with not hitting that 5 gallon mark on point. I just finished a brew and after i airated im a little over cause of the bubbles.

    Sorry this was an extract brew. Thanks for the quick resonse. I usually go 7 days primary 7 days secondary keg and 1-2 weeks in keg then carb. Ive never had such a low reading on the 6 day.. So could this batch be done fermenting?

    How is it that my og was 1.068 and at 6 days my gravity is 1.012? Ive made this same beer once before and at this point my gravity was 1.024... 1.012 Is lower than my estimated final. Any kind of help is greatly apperciated. I used white labs 001

    I got a fire rock clone carbed in my keg and wanted to bring it to a party. Problem is at the party there will be no fridge for my setup. So my question is would it be ok to put my keg on ice and serve.. i have an aeb ball lock keg.

    You gotta use water bath. Put your bucket in a big tub of water and use frozen water bottles and swap um out every 6-8 hours or so. Thats wat i do and im able to keep my temps between 68º and 76º Just drop one thermometer in the tub of water and put frozen water when need.

    How long can i leave this batch in the ice box ? Will i need to worry about it spoiling or any off flavors? Its in my secondary carboy with airlock temp is still 37º...

    I just dont wanna bottle all 50 something bottles and they dont carb then ill be kegging anyway... if i decided to keg could i force carb then release the presssure from keg then sphion to bottleing bucket and bottle?
