    What PID should I get?

Hadn't seen those near that price. Thanks for the link. Also, from what I have seen the k types are easier to set up and I have never done anything like this before so was hoping for ease of use of k type but if these r better I will go this route. Just need to find a disconnect for the panel...

    How/when to carb this beer.

This is what I have been serving at since getting my kegs and it seems right to me. Kegarator is at 36- 38 degrees. Acording to my carb chart this is 2.2-2.3 volumes. What do u serve at? Oh... right now I am using the cheap picnic taps so more serving pressure give me a lot of foam. The pour...

    How/when to carb this beer.

I didn't like the idea of the shaking either. A lot of work and afraid of breaking something so I will do 30 psi for 3 days then 8 to serve. Thank u all.

    What PID should I get?

    How/when to carb this beer.

Don't really have a way to cold crash or raise fermenting temp right now. My fermenters r 5 gallon water bottles and to get 6 gallons in them I split the batch into 2 3 gallon batches for the primary. This is also why I usually 2ndary after a week. Mix the batches to let the flavors blend I...

    How/when to carb this beer.

Sounds good. Thanks for the help. I will dump them in the kegs either Sunday or Monday and see how it turns out. I will cool them down then shake at serving pressure for awhile as well to force more co2 into it the first couple of days then let them sit until the party.

    How/when to carb this beer.

Long story short... Having work get together the 28th. Brewed 3 batches mid March to early April (I have 3 cornies) with a heat stick. When kegging first batch it tasted burnt. So tried the others and they were 2. Dumped them all remade all 3 4/25 using stove (done several batches this way...

    Electric BIAB system

Not much but I took the first step. Making box from 1x10 oak. Will start ordering parts tomorrow for the box just started cutting out for outlets tonight. Will have 2 external 120v with switches and 1 240v with switch. Putting a 120v internally for the fan to cool heat sink (seems easier/safer...

    What PID should I get?

If I was doing a 3 tier I would go with one of these also but I am doing a biab system so need the td4 to control the boil. I will have plenty of room in the control box to add one to my heatstick outlet in the future if I continue using it for spare water.

    Cheap compact wort pump

Okay.... so I have read about 75% of this thread now and still have no idea of what pwm to get. I want to use the 24v pump with 24v power supply. Can anyone suggest a pwm they know work well with these?

    Electric BIAB system

I guess this is like anything. Some people have good experiences while others don't. I have been reading through a thread on here "cheap compact wort pump" and it seems that a lot of b people use these, some for years without issue. Thanks for the concern.

    Electric BIAB system

I was reading more on these and noticed this pwm input is 6-30volt. Do I need to something to reduce the voltage in?if so does it matter what voltage I use as long as it's in that range? If I use this 24v pump can I do this? 120v through 24 volt (cell phone charger thing) to pwm to outlet...

    What PID should I get?

I just ran the wires from my house panel. Since I have a heat stick that I plan on using for strike I ran one from 30a 240 (10ga) and one from 20a 120 (12ga). The 240 will solely be for heating element. 120 for heat stick, fan/vent hood/pump. I think this will simplify my box and ensure I have...

    Electric BIAB system

Thank you for those links. I will be getting those. Edit: Will u be putting an inline fuse in that? If so does it go between power and PWM or PWM and outlet?

    Electric BIAB system

Can u post pictures of your set up? Do you use a pid to control your elements? It would definitely same a ton of money going simple.
