    Strange as in... I dunno.... i would guess MAYBE it is SOME-what bandaid would taste like???? but I used bottled spring water, so chlorination would not be the cause, could it? It's a first impress6 taste, but doesn't linger at all....

    I sometimes get them in my attic.... My kids saw one running up the wall going up... I put traps under the overhang along the wall of the house. This year I got 9 of those little Fockers... No more for this season , I think

    Since it is just the mashtun and NOT the fermenter, seems like and any issues would be small, since the wort is only in contact for 90 mins at most...

    Full strength chlorine bleach.... That kills everything... and also kills the smell. I learned from a chef that he uses bleach on cutting boards to remove taste and smell...

    I can say, I went from starting with Mr. Beer to BIAB all grain and since I had several fermenter buckets, I just modified them to take a different spigot and as fermenters, they are perfect. I started doing 5 gallon mash and boils on my electric stove top, but that was NOT a preferred way...

    I mean, if it’s a craft brewery, great for them… Making a go of it, but there is NO WAY IN HELL I’m standing in a line of more than a couple of minutes.. McDonalds and fast food even get my back up for their lines.
