So I have two recipies for an ale I've wanted to brew ever since I started brewing: Double Dragon. One recipe was in a recent Brew mag, which calls for malted wheat, another was one I found online, which calls for torrified wheat. What's the difference between the two? I ask because my LHBS...

I don't believe it's fibreglass, but rigid foam insulation, no? Wouldn't the shape of the door and the insulation glued to the inside of it add enough stability? If not could I use 1/8" laminated fibreboard or would mould become an issue then?

Hey everybody, I've read on several accounts of converting a mini fridge to a kegerator that the door's shelved insert was replaced with another similarly sized piece of plexiglass or simlar material to help stiffen the door. Is this really necessary? I would figure the shape of the door...

You can try adding the orange rind in the last 5 minutes of the boil. It will pretty much have the same effect and you won't have to worry about possibly infecting the beer.

OK, so I had it at 25 psi in the fridge for about 18 hours (unconnected to the tank), then I bled it and reset at 12 psi (now connected to the tank) and I'm gonna leave it sit for a few more days or a week. Should that be good? Thanks, Nick

How much grain are we talking about to collapse the braid? I have a 5 gallon Rubbermaid that I have yet to use. That size MT can realistically really only handle about 12 lbs of grain...will/can that weight collapse a SS braid? Nick
