    Wine Kits

I have used the brewking line very successfully (Vintners reserve, international & limited ed's) When I clean and sanitise - I just use a solution of Potassium Metabisulphate Spray inside and outside of all equipment and hands - don't rinse, work :) no problems so far. Kilroy

    iced tea

Iced tea + Liquor of your choice - Vodka's & Tequila's work well. I don't know about actually fermenting icedtea, but I am sure that if you follow a basic wine recipe, and follow the sugar, yeast, and acid guidlines, then you may very well come up with something.

    Air Lock Question.

DUnno what you are brewing - but if you have some Potassiam Metabisulphate sanitizer made up (Wine makers use this more I suspect) use that in the airlock, cheaper than vodka, and I am sure that there are better uses for the vodka :) The metabislphate will also kill any natural yeasts that...

I get a 100 or so Wine bottles that I scrounge from resturants etc.., fill the bathtub with the hottest water that my bioler produces, and then Dump in a whole lot of "Arm & Hammer - Washing SODA" Put bottles in bath - and then leave for a few hours. Interesting Carbonation Technique

Well - and Wow - Certainly very ingenious. As for the filtering - for the Wino's out there, and I am sure that it could be used for beer too, is a product by Buon Vino. I have the Mini Jet filter, cleans 5 gallons in about 20 minutes. My 6 gallon Carboys take less than 25 minutes, and it...

    No Rinse Sanitizers

I don't do beer, but wine is my game. I use my metabisulphite, rinse the bottle's and hang em upside down on the bottle tree. if some of them are dry by the time I get the wine in, oh well. I certainly do not rinse them, they just "dry" on the bottle tree. As far as my brewing - I sanitise...
