    @Dan O I just did a cherry melomel and learned the hard way also that I needed to put in a bag because once I racked it, the cherries made it a bit complicated to say the least LOL. Lesson learned and the next one I'll definitely have the bag ready to go.

    Secondary Fermentation....How Important is it?

    I started brewing in February and have successfully brewed 10 all grain batches. During this time I only used secondary one time and that was for a belgian quad I made. IMHO I don’t believe secondary is necessary to clear up your beer. You can leave it in the primary and when it’s ready cold...
