Keezer with a tower on it

I just added the stout tap to my tap tower.

    Hard OJ

Apple cider with cranberries added to the secondary comes to my mind. I normalliy add either blueberries or cherries to my ciders.

Looking for opinions on my next grill

Agreed, but the gas grillers are also put off by the "clean up" involved with the ashes. I view gas grills as an outdoor oven but I am willing to sacrifice the "inconvenience" of a charcoal grill for the "taste" that it produces. But then again I also do my own oil changes & car maintenance.

Looking for opinions on my next grill

I don't either but for me I no longer get newspapers, only advertisement flyers which most have a waxy finish.

Looking for opinions on my next grill

That works just the same except for the floating paper ashes and that newspapers are becoming extinct. The parifin starter cubes also works very well.

Looking for opinions on my next grill

I always had/have charcoal grills, when my son moved into a house he had a weber gas grill. When he hosted a party I brought over my weber kettle charcoal grill for more grilling space. Afterwards he sold his weber gas grill, based on the taste of the food between the grills, and bought a...

Looking for opinions on my next grill

My go to for smoked meats is my Weber Smokey Mountain smoker. The smoke intensity is based on the type and quantity of wood used. Due to the water pan between the charcoal and grill rack provides a very stable cooking temperature and keeps the meat moist. I also have a Weber kettle and a...

    single serve nitro infuser

During my research the Micro Matic gas blenders are a contender since there is no snake oil to them. If I can get a used one for a decent price I most likely will go that route to eliminate a beer gas cylinder. There was one on FB marketplace a few months back that I let slip away mainly due...

    single serve nitro infuser

By clean I am referring to pure nitrogen. I am having a hard time understanding how this device works, especially if it can operate off of CO2. Their videos do not go into any technical details. Would you care to share how your setup is configured?

    single serve nitro infuser

As usual Bobby I appreciate your non-biased advice. My intent was to use a tank of nitrogen to serve both stouts and cold brew coffee as opposed to buying a tank of beer gas and another tank of nitrogen. Running the numbers, I am now realizing that there is no cost savings in going with a...

    RO brand recommendation

My understanding is that the automatic flush valve is tubed into the system the same way as the manual flush valve. The only differences are that the automatic flush valve requires power and it will automatically flush upon "energizing" and every hour of use (I assume that this means continuous...

    single serve nitro infuser

It is confusing as they are offering multiple different systems with different options. I am considering the Micro Nitro - Inline Nitrogen Infuser Link which is offered with and without a pneumatic pump. As far as I can tell the pneumatic pump option will "eliminate" the Nitrogen cylinder (but...

    single serve nitro infuser

This has certainly peaked my interest as I am in the process of looking to add a nitro tap to my existing keezer. Unfortunately their youtube video's do not provide the technical details of the various product offerings and the lame music does not help. From what I can tell, the micronitro...

    Is the Hellfire worth it?

I have the Edelmetall which is a slight notch below the Hellfire, however I converted my burner for natural gas which allows me to brew indoors.

    100% nitro for serving?

Another possibility is that the brewery has a gas blender.

    Good rectangular coolers for 2024

+1 on Marine type coolers. I bought a 55 qt Coho cooler ($100 on sale from Costco last year) for my jockey box build. It is built like a tank and has features like freezer quality lid gasket, T latches and a threaded drain plug with garden hose threads...

    Making Mill table thoughts

I would be cautious about having live voltage (junction box/outlet) in an area where grain dust may be present. BTW I like your shiny brew kettles!

    Making Mill table thoughts

My mill table consists of a repurposed buffet cabinet with an Aleworks motor. The chalk paint gave it a new look.

Sizing RIMS heating element for mashing scenarios

I use a 1650W element @120V in my RIMs that I can obtain 1 Deg F/min temp rise which is sufficient for step mashing. For referance I use a gas fired boil kettle for heating strike water and boiling with a RIMs to maintain mash temps/or step mashing. To minimize heat loss I wrapped my mash...

Morebeer / Duotight Gas Manifold Board?

I agree, below is what I have done. The gas lines are routed to the back and are inline with the associated keg to avoid coiled up tubing inside.
