Yeah just rack onto it to mix it in, might be best to mix it with a bit in a glass first to get the ratio you need for the taste. I wouldn't boil it no idea what that would turn out like
Hey guys so I picked up 100g (~4oz) for a pound ($1.40) at my lhbs but its really old being from the 2014 harvest, they have kept it in a freezer they say. I was wondering if there would be any issues with using it? Eg don't use as aroma
From a quick googlefoo the German ones are a slight bit more aromatic than its us counterpart.

Hey guys I have been looking at doing a warm pilsner for the wife as I don't have a fridge big enough for my fv. Was just wondering what temps everyone pitches the yeast at I typically pitch rehydrated at 19c(66f) is this fine for 34/70?
I have just moved over to almost this exact method with a smaller pot (21l) and using a bucket instead of my fv. First brew with it had 72% second had 78% then my bucket leaked and I ended up with 52%.
Make sure you have something to keep the bag off the bottom of the fv so you don't have to...
