    Makes me feel good

It very much is a disease... One you willingly contract.

    Makes me feel good

He's coming over this Sunday so I can show him an all grain brew day. He's gone with a coopers extract kit of now as they are cheap and a nice gateway into it. If he doesn't like the length of an all grain brew day guess I'm teaching him how to do extract brews.

    Makes me feel good

So I went around to my neighbours house Friday night and took a selection of my beers over for them to try... 10am the next morning I get a call from said neighbour "hey I'm at the homebrew shop, what do I need to get started you have made me jealous." I am taking this as a victory for the team.

    El Dorado hop

Hopslist is the place to look, they don't have pairing hops listed but that's easily worked out from the flavour/aroma description

    What will the neighbors think?

I store mine in the shed at the end of the garden, had one neighbour ask "are you growing something dodgy back there" he came around that night and left stumbling

    Commercial Scale Up

I was reading up on one of these for a London brewery the other week sadly I can't remember the name but iirc it was the same as how you describe

    Infected Beer or other

So I get these as well when I use cheap carbonation drops (wilko in the UK) but when I asked about it muntons also do this iirc

    Nitro options

Luckily I have a spare freezer underneath my bottle fridge, it's just getting some kegs and drilling some holes at this point. Co2 I can get at the end of my street which is also nice. Think this will be high on my list after as I love a good nitro stout.

    Nitro options

This is definitely on my list but I'm still new so a keg system is first. Did you get any of the flavour packs too?

How Many Gallons of Homebrew in 2018?

    2754 + 5 gal Irish stout = 2759

    Nitro options

So how does this thing work? It's a kind of pump, from the looks of your pics, that takes nitrogen out of the air and pumps it in? No need for refills ever?

Hop Water, anybody make this before?

Have you tested with fo only and some dry hopping?

    Dirty Confession

It's more diluting the bitterness I bet

Fruits and dark beers/Inquiring minds want to know

The idea is to buy already frozen ones that /should/ be safe from anything from the manufacturing process rather than fresh and freeze yourself.

    Non pure maple syrup

That was my thoughts, I dont mind shelling out for the more expensive stuff but it's always nice to save a few if I can

    Birthday Buys

I started off with an infrared thermo for mash temps and found it infuriating as the bubbles on the top of the mash give you much lower readings so it requires a bit of a stir. You can get a meat probe thermo for about the same price however

    Non pure maple syrup

Hey guys planning on doing a maple stout and was wondering if the cheaper maple syrup which isn't pure is fine to use or should I throw the extra money at it and get the pure stuff? One I'm looking at atm is https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/286784549 Thanks

You know you're a home brewer when?

When your looking at moving to a small island and the first thing you check (after house prices) is if you can buy grains hops and yeast... Btw you can :)
