    Get wrap, etc temperature range

No I don't have two controllers but I would buy more if this could work. The controller I use is a dual temperature one that only costs $45. I was hoping to get a couple of different beers in there so that I could brew more often. Right now I just try and stagger my brew days by at least two...

    Get wrap, etc temperature range

Thanks. Good point. I might get one and try it with a smaller heat differential. Maybe with the freezer set at 60 and the wrap set at 70 and see what happens.

Sorry about the double post. Either my phone or the app glitches. Can't figure out how to delete this one.

    Fermwrap question

Hi all. I have a question for those that use fermwraps and similar products. I need to find a way to ferment up to three batches at different stages in my chest freezer. From primary fermentation to cold crashing. I thinking that I can use my temperature controller to keep the ambient...

    A Brewing Water Chemistry Primer

Yes I live in British Columbia right near the border with Washington state. Our tap water is pretty fantastic. I was thinking of only mashing the base malts for the purpose of flavor. I'm not a fan of overly roasted dark beers and astringency. I did forget about the kettle ph though. Sent from...

    A Brewing Water Chemistry Primer

So, I've been following this thread for a while now and have started using this method with good success so far. I still don't have a ph meter but will be ordering one soon. I just set up my new grain crusher and plan to change my mash technique a bit and Id like to get an opinion on if I've...

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

I do both sparge and no sparge with my 15 gallon cooler and the only difference that I find with no sparge is a slightly maltier finish and about 3-5% less efficiency. I would assume that recirculating the wort with this system would lessen the efficiency margins. I'm also interested in how...

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

Great thread guys. I've been lurking here for some time reading about your successes with the Brew Ha. I came across the product this spring while working out ways to convert a conical into an electric brewpot. As it happens, Nathan works not far from my house and had one with him prior to...

    Ph meter choice

Thanks guys. I'm not looking to heap out at all. I just didn't know which type to look at. There's no sense paying $200 for one if I only need one that's under a hundred. Brewing up a storm in Langley, British Columbia

    Ph meter choice

Hi folks. I'm looking to get a ph meter and I'm wondering if these Hanna Instruments beer ph testers are good. They're $30 in amazon right now. Brewing up a storm in Langley, British Columbia

    Gasket for Nitrogen tank?

Help! I have a 20 pound Nitrogen tank filled with Co2 and I purchased a Co2 regulator to Nitrogen tank adapter. I set the whole think up and when I turn on the tank there is a serious leak coming from the point where the adapter screws into the tank. Is there supposed to be a gasket that...

Visiting Seattle... What/where should I drink??

When we visit our buddy in Washington we always hit Redmond and go to Black Raven. Hi Fi was good last time as well. We also go to Malt and Vine to purchase local brews and sample what's on tap. We also try to stop at Browers (not sure if I spelled it right) Cafe if we have time. Our friend has...
