    Make IPA Clear Again

Ok. I’ll agree with that. I’m certainly not taking Toby Keith’s advice. I’ve eaten at his restaurant...once.

    Minnesota Ball Lock Corny Kegs

I’ve got five ball lock corny kegs for sale - $45 each or $200 for all five. All kegs have been cleaned, o rings and seals replaced, and have been pressure tested. They’re good to go! I prefer local pick up, but if you’re willing to pay shipping or have a way to get them from Minneapolis...

    Make IPA Clear Again

Isn’t that the purpose of an opinion? You get yours, he gets his. You think your opinion is superior or else you’d change.

    Make IPA Clear Again

It’s almost like people are willfully refusing to read what the OP has written. Or at least intentionally misunderstanding what he has written. Here’s the summary: OP isn’t bashing Hazy beverages. OP isn’t opposed to the existence of Hazy hoppy juicy fruity or new. OP would prefer for...

First cleaning of boil in a basket

I would purchase some TSP (not the fake stuff), mix it according to the label instructions, and use it to clean your new equipment. Rinse thoroughly, and then rinse again. I wouldn’t worry about sanitizing it as you’ll be boiling it.

    Milling and BrewEasy

Hi friends, I’ll be receiving my new Monster Mill in a few days and I’m curious - especially for those of you who mill your own and use a BrewEasy - what setting do you mill your grain on? Is there a sweet spot for efficiency without getting a stuck circulation? Thanks!

    What are you drinking now?

I know man - someone in Minneapolis knows what's up! Before Northern Brewer sold out to ABInbev, Surly used to partner with them to do recipes. You can still find a recipe for this one here: https://download.invisiblek.org/beer/allgrain/AG-Furious_Pro_Surly.pdf

How long can a starter/smack pack last

My guess is that you’ll always be playing the viability game. Think of your smack pack as a starter. If you don’t use it right away, yeast die - but not all at once. If it were me, I’d make a new starter with your old smack pack and see what happens.

What came in the mail for you today?

Working on earning my iTrader cred, @HopsNTails sent me a package which included this beauty. I’m drinking it now and am ashamed to say that I ever believed what an IPA was before now. I’m not crying, you’re crying. Here’s the whole cache

Best practices for bottling from keg?

Ok. Trying something new here. I want to bottle from my keg. I’ve got a bottle filler and bottles. The bottles are cold. But all I get is foam... how can I decrease the carb amount?? How do you bottle from kegs??
