    Show us your Kegerator

What fridge is that? Do the three remaining kegs (9 taps...) sit on top of the bottom layer? Absolutely beautiful set up. Would love to do that for myself.

Build a second copper coil and put that in the cooler full of ice water upstream of your wort. Saw a guy do that and he cooled 10 gallons like it was nothing.

Funny things you've overheard about beer

At a fancy restaurant with the SWMBO, having a drink at the bar. Hipster fashionista rudely leans over my wife, bumping her out of his way to order a beer. Orders a Stella, but pronounces the full name in an exaggerated French accent. Strike 2. When he got the beer, turns to his friends and...

    My Venturi Aerator

Have tried it a number of times myself and have failed every time. Option 1) my racking cane ID is just too small for there to be enough increase in flow. Or option 2) I'm just incompetent. Well done!

    Mash temp for dry stout

As it's meant to be a dry stout you might want to aim for slightly higher attenuation than on a typical beer. Hence the traditionally low mash temp. When I do a dry Irish I mash in at 150 and let it drop to 148 over the hour. Luckily that is pretty much how my system works on it's own though...

    Stone Xocoveza Mocha Stout

Not a genius with recipes myself, but a whole pound of roasted barley sounds pretty acrid, maybe someone else could chime in? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Sweet Stout Deception Cream Stout

Not at all. 1lb of lactose in a stout isn't syrupy at all. It's quite common to use that much. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Successful Peanut Butter Stout

That sounds like an awesome idea, a hazelnut milk stout might be a winner. When you say they give off a strong flavor, would you recommend like 2oz hazelnuts in enough liqueur to cover them, for two months? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

Chemistry Noob - Double Check my work?

Hi Guys! Just moved to a new city far away and haven't been able to get my hands on a decent water profile, so I'm planning on getting some RO water and building from there. Doing an Oatmeal Stout, and was wondering what you thought of the following additions: (Yields a mash PH of 5.5)

    Yeast in bottles...

Thanks guys! Gravity hadn't moved in over a month so I assumed I'd reached FG. Toying with the idea of uncorking and transferring to bulk secondary when one frees up next week. Should I be concerned with oxidation during transfer? Not sure how mead compares to beer with regards to dreaded...
