    treating copper after using steel wool

    I had that happen on mine. You can also use a nice warm distilled white vinegar soak and scrub. It worked wonders to get the green off my chiller.

    Lesson learned about using spent grains for mulch

    Oh yeah, I learned that lesson after my second partial mash batch. Didn't realize how much spent grains can stink up the trash after just one warm spring day.

    Temp too hot after initial fermentation

    Partial mash AHS Holiday Chocolate Stout! Almost had a boil over, but some quick lifting/spray bottle work saved the wort from becoming a sticky mess! Smelled great too!
